We are pleased to announce the addition of our favicon to our homepage, in furtherance of efforts to more precisely identify ourselves to our shared community.
Concept and process in conveying our enduring vision via favicon:
The favicon began with a photograph, captured candidly at a conservation area in Nevada, years ago. The photograph depicted a human and a deer and communicated harmony. The photograph inspired subsequent graphic and distilled iterations of the original composition, expressed as pencil sketches and as a figurative canvas painting.
The painting’s value was determined via an external appraisal. Thank you to the professional who provided the appraisal. The painting was eventually donated to a charity which provides summer fellowships to law students.
The favicon image may also be found embedded within our YouTube channel. It represents an electronic deliberation upon the the value of teamwork even as it mediates its impredicative nature. It is intended to reference our shared humanity as well as a continuing support for the stewardship of our fuzzy four legged friends and the prodigy of nature.
